From a gas lamp that company founder Philipp Kreis once developed in his living room to state-of-the-art solutions for caravans and motorhomes, the Putzbrunn-based company has an impressive history spanning more than 75 years.
Today, Truma is a system supplier for heating, air conditioning, water heaters, manoeuvring aids and gas supply in the caravan sector. With the Truma iNet system, digital networking is increasingly finding its way into everyday camping life. Every day, the company is dedicated to finding innovative ideas to offer its customers advanced and reliable solutions.

Further education & training
Further education is a top priority for us, both in-house, supported by our HR development team, and externally, through numerous training courses.
We also place great value on thorough induction, which is why a personal onboarding programme and a buddy who is on hand to offer advice and support during the first few weeks are a matter of course.

Mobile work & flexible working hours
At Truma, we offer maximum flexibility in terms of working hours and location. As part of our mobile working policy, once you have successfully completed your induction in the office, you can work remotely just as easily as you can in the office. In addition to this, we also offer workation in combination with holiday.

Company restaurant & coffee bar
A good lunch is important to give you enough energy for the day. That's why we serve lunch every day in our company restaurant. In addition, fruit, coffee, tea and water are available free of charge in our coffee bars.

The health of our employees is very important to us. That is why we offer various health-related services (preventive medical check-ups for workplaces, vaccinations, etc.) and sports activities (e.g. yoga) directly at Truma.

Several times a year, we organise various events (summer party, Christmas party, team building, etc.) where we celebrate our successes together.

For those who want to do something good for themselves and for nature, we offer a company bike leasing programme.
We also offer the option of participating in corporate car sharing.

Pension provision is also important to us, which is why capital-forming benefits and a company pension scheme are included in our package.

At Truma, we offer our employees numerous benefits and special staff offers. These range from renting motorhomes and caravans, discounts on Truma devices, discounts on trips in our Truma hot air balloon, to use of the Truma Club and our own Truma swimming lake.

Childcare & holiday programme
To help our employees balance family and work, we offer places in local childcare facilities for the little ones and a fantastic summer holiday programme for older children.

But what do these values mean for Truma in concrete terms? Here are a few examples...
Sustainability
Of course, we are ISO-certified in energy and environmental management, but Truma also generates 40% of its electricity requirements locally in a climate-friendly manner, using a photovoltaic system on the roofs of the company buildings and a combined heat and power plant.
We also cover our water requirements for sanitary facilities in an environmentally friendly manner with 55,000 litres of rainwater per year.
Family & social
The Truma Renate Schimmer Wottrich Foundation has been in existence since 2011. Its guiding principle is to offer children and young people from socially disadvantaged families care, support and prospects for the future, and to help families in need. The foundation's work is consistently geared towards these goals. It is therefore particularly committed to social, charitable, educational and cultural projects in Munich and the surrounding area.
But that's not all – we as Truma employees also benefit from this social commitment. For example, during the summer holidays, childcare is provided for employees' children in the nearby premises of a supported project. And there are regular action days when employees support local projects, such as the LiLaLu holiday programme run by Johanniter Unfallhilfe e.V. – and the smiles on the children's faces say more than a thousand words.
