Our Company
From a gas lamp that company founder Philipp Kreis tinkered with in his living room at home to innovative solutions for caravans and motor homes. The more than 70-year history of the Putzbrunn-based company is inspiring.
Today, Truma is a system supplier for heating, air conditioning, water heaters, maneuvering aids and gas supply in caravans. With the Truma iNetSystem, digital networking is increasingly making its way into everyday camping life - and the search for innovative ideas continues day after day.

Our values
Social corporate culture, collegial interaction with a strong sense of togetherness and sustainable development - Truma takes its responsibility towards employees, customers, society and the environment seriously.
Sustainability | Competence |
Reliability | Service quality |
Product quality | Customer proximity |
Family |
But what do these values mean in concrete terms at Truma? Some examples...
Sustainability
Of course, we are ISO-certified in energy and environmental management; but beyond that, we produce 40% of our electricity needs at Truma in a climate-friendly way on site, through a photovoltaic system on the roofs of the company buildings and a combined heat and power plant.
And we also meet our water needs for sanitary facilities in an environmentally friendly way, using 55,000 liters of rainwater annually.
Family & Social
The Truma Foundation Renate Schimmer Wottrich has been in existence since 2011. Its guiding principle is to offer care, support and future prospects to children and young people from socially disadvantaged families and to support families in need. The foundation's work is consistently geared to these goals. It is therefore particularly committed to social, charitable, educational and cultural projects in Munich and the surrounding area.
But that's not all - we as employees at Truma also benefit from this social commitment. For example, there is a summer vacation childcare program for employees' children that takes place in the nearby premises of a supported project. And there are always action days where employees support projects on site, such as the LiLaLu vacation program of the Johanniter Unfallhilfe e.V. - and shining children's eyes simply say more than 1,000 words.
